As we move into the final phase of our capital campaign with the Spencer Building, it has been wonderful to see the Corpus community coming together in a shared commitment to safeguarding our intellectual heritage and improving the study environment for our students. In this year’s Telethon, we will be continuing to seek the involvement of our supporters in this landmark project, alongside other strategic priorities including graduate scholarships, our access and outreach programme, and student support initiatives. Spotlight on our student callers
Our annual Telethon Campaign will be taking place from 22 September to 1 October. The Telethon plays an important role in the life of the College. Its success over the years is testament to the generosity of both our alumni and students who take part, and our collective commitment to supporting present and future generations of Corpus students. Our fundraising priorities
As well as being a great way of catching up with our Old Members, the telethon is an important fundraising event. The College relies upon philanthropy in order to continue providing the world-class education and supportive learning environment of which we are so proud. Our students will be asking, on behalf of Corpus Christi, for regular donations to support the College's highest priorities.
Although our sixteenth-century Library is of national architectural and historical significance, enhancements to its spaces are needed to meet the expectations of students and staff at a modern, world-class university. The Spencer Building will be the permanent, secure and accessible home for the library, archives and collections, and will transform Corpus’ research, teaching, and scholarship. The Spencer Building is the most ambitious capital project to take place on the College site for three centuries.

DPhil in Classics
Last academic year, Corpus celebrated the career of Professor Stephen Harrison following his retirement. In his honour, we are fundraising for a graduate scholarship in Classical Languages and Literature. Our aim is to attract exceptionally talented students to foster a worldwide community of classics with Oxford as one of its key centres.
MSc African Studies
With the recent arrival of Professor Rebekah Lee, Fellow of the College and Associate Professor in African Studies, we are seeking funds to secure one MSc Scholarship in African Studies, exclusively open to candidates of African domicile, with an emphasis on female students. Your generous donation will play a pivotal role in making a lasting impact and fostering their academic journey.
DPhil in History
In honour of Professor John Watts’ 25-year tenure as a Corpus Fellow and Tutor in History, we launched a fundraising campaign for the Clarendon Watts Graduate Scholarship in History. Our aim is to ensure the highest calibre graduate students are provided with the opportunity to develop and study in the best possible learning environment without carrying the burden of student debt.
Pelican Fund
While academic study is at the core of student life, the College experience is also about participation in a wide range of activities, enabling students to get the most out of their time at Oxford. Your support will allow us to assist with a wide variety of students' extra-curricular expenses to ensure our students thrive in their studies and holistically.
Expanding Horizons
This programme is open to all current undergraduates and graduates. It awards up to three students with scholarships of up to £5,000. These funds give the recipients the chance to spend 4 to 8 weeks abroad during the summer vacation. The aim is for the student to experience broad educational, professional and vocational value beyond the scope of their academic course.

The goal of our Access and Outreach work is to help as many young people as possible to achieve their ambitions. Help us raise the aspirations and achievements of talented students and allow them to reach their full potential.
